Six Civilians Kill In Blast Afghanistan

Afghanistan KABUL : A roadside bomb exploded in central Afghanistan on Saturday, killing six people travelling in a civilian vehicle, the interior ministry said.

Dubai-based Federal Electricity and Water Authority (FEWA) has awarded Siemens Energy a €30m contract for the supply of a turnkey substation in Fujairah, as well as modernizing four substations in the emirate. Under the agreement, Siemens will supply 10 bays 132-kV and 26 bays 33-kV for gas-insulated switchgear as well as two 90 MvA transformers. The power supply project is scheduled for completion within 15 months.

The City presents deserted look today after yesterdays deadly blasts that killed 57 innocent people and injured almost 130 others in R A Bazaar, Lahore. Business activities come to a halt as more of the shops are closed, while mourning the bloody blasts. Namaz-e-Janaza of nine security officials and 4 citizens has been offered. According to ISPR, Namaz-e-Janaza of five security officials was offered last night and Namaz-e-Janaza of 4 security officials was offered this morning. All dead bodies have been laid to rest in different graveyards of Lahore. SSP Operations Lahore Chaudhry Shafiq Gujjar visited Allama Iqbal Town and Samanabad where blasts took place last night. He told Dunya News that investigative teams have arrested few suspected people. He said it would be premature to say anything about the blasts at this time.

Unknown persons gunned down three people including head of Gauda Peace Committee Malik Lal Badshah and two of his security gaurds in Peshawar. According to police, unknown persons ambushed them in area of Bakhshu bridge near the residence of Lal Badshah. Firing also killed Khasadar Noor Alam and Levis official. According to witnesses, after firing the unknown persons fled shouting slogans of Taliban zindabad. Malik Lal Badshah was head of Gauda Khel Peace Committee.
